Requirements

Preschool & Primary:

To register a child, an admission fee of N2,500 only (Non - refundable) is paid. Admission form is filled and submitted.
The child is invited for a placement test, observation and assessment.
Class placement is strictly and primarily by age and assessment result.
Report of the child's performance is communicated to the parent.
If the parent agrees with the assessment report, the child is given admission
Total tuition fees and other things to be paid for are made known to the parent.

College:

To register for college, student needs to obtain admission form for N5,000 only (Non - refundable)
Complete the form and submit with all essential documents
Admission will be reviewed and entrance examination date will be communicated
Candidate will be invited for entrance examination - English, Math and General Aptitude.
Selection is based on the performance of the candidate in the entrance examination and oral interview
Successful candidate will be offered provisional admission. Total tuition fees and other things will be communicated accordingly.

A child's place or admission is only confirmed and guaranteed upon receipt and acknowledgement of admission form and correct school fees

No new child or student will be allowed to attend class without down payment of 80% school fees, school uniform and shoe.

School fees Payment:

Shining Stars Schools operates on school fees payment policy. This is to enable the school maintains the standards of the school, pay regularly hard working and dedicated staff, provide safe and conducive learning environment for all pupils and students. We believe that our schools fees are very moderate, competitive and represent excellent value for money. Thus, we shall appreciate prompt and regular payment of school fees from our esteemed parents.

Admission offered to a third or fourth child or sibling in a family attracts a 5% discount on tuition fees only.

Our Facilities:

At Shining Stars Schools we have numerous up to date facilities that enhance learning of our pupils from early years to key stage level. Facilities are safe, in secured locations and in line with our health and safety policy which ensures children are guided and well taken care of.

Co-Curricular Activities:

Interesting proprammes such as sporting activities, excursions, cultural events, debates, dance and drama etc are organized for the pupils and students to promote a healthy and more balanced development of the children. Their performance provides them with an avenue to express themselves aesthetically and also enable them to work within groups, understand dynamics and interpersonal relationships.

Welfare:

Shining Stars Schools ensures that all foods that are provided are healthy and we encourage adequate hygiene among the members of staff and pupils\students. We are keen to proper discipline and etiquette among the pupils\students. Therefore, glass plates or bottles are strongly prohibited within the school premises.

We give proper orientation to parents\guardians in managing the pupils’ health. It is advised that children should be treated with immediate effect if any infection or any communicable disease is noticed.

Security & Guidance:

The security and safety of our pupils\students are of paramount importance to us. Hence, no one is allowed to pick a pupil without prior written notice or permission from the parent\guidance to the Head Teacher who will consider it before giving or denying the permission.

We ensure the school gates are always shut throughout the school periods. This prevents pupils\students from leaving the school compound at will as well as intruders coming into the school compound.
